Our Classes

We offer classes in ISTD Ballet, ISTD Modern, ISTD Tap, Jazz, Acrobatic Arts, Musical Theatre and Lyrical.
All our teachers are qualified, DBS Checked, First Aid Trained and Insured. Classes are available for dancers aged 2+.

Ballet

We offer Ballet classes for children aged 2+. Our Ballet classes are ISTD syllabus based, teaching children technique and how to move with music. Children are offered the opportunity to participate in optional ISTD exams if they wish to.


Jazz

We offer Jazz classes for children aged 3+. In this class we explore the foundations of Jazz technique with centre work, across the floor phrases and routines. Dancers build on strength and flexibility, and learn how to dance as part of a group, developing their confidence and spatial awareness. We focus on one routine per half term - this class is full of fun and energy!

Modern

We offer Modern classes for children aged 2+. Our Modern classes are ISTD syllabus based. This style allows for dancers to be creative with the exploration of rhythm, sequences and routines. Children are offered the opportunity to participate in optional exams if they wish to.


Musical Theatre

We offer Musical Theatre for children aged 4+. We explore singing, acting and dancing all at once in this class, with children focusing on one Musical per term. They learn about characterisation through games and exercises, develop their singing skills with vocal warm ups, and their dance moves through routines.

Tap

We offer Tap classes for children aged 4+. Our Tap classes are ISTD Syllabus based. This style is performed with shoes that have metal toe and heel taps to create rhythms and sounds. Children are offered the opportunity to participate in optional ISTD exams if they wish to.

Lyrical

We offer Lyrical classes for children aged 8 and above. This is because we believe it is a very mature style that is best taken alongside another class to develop a dancers technique and style. This class is a combination of Ballet, Modern & Jazz, getting dancers to tap into their own emotions and learning how to connect with the music.

Acrobatic Arts

We offer Acrobatic Arts classes for children aged 3+. We follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, building strength, flexibility, co-ordination and most importantly - teamwork! Children are offered the oppurtunity to participate in optional Acrobatic Arts exams if they wish to.
