Terms & Conditions at Unique Dance Studios for Dancers and their Parent/Guardian

We are a dance school who strongly believe that dance is for everyone and children should, above all, dance for enjoyment. This is at the forefront of all of our classes, without compromising proper training and the platform to progress into the arts if they choose to do so in their adult lives.

Suitable Clothing – Your child should wear something that they can easily move in such as leggings/shorts with a t-shirt/vest – or
a leotard if they have one. Please avoid clothing that is denim or has large zips and buttons. For classes such as Ballet, Modern
and Tap, specific uniform will need to be worn after the first half term. Uniform order forms for school logo printed clothing are
available. Please make sure that all long hair is securely tied back for all lessons.
School Safety Rules –
• Dancers under 18 must be supervised by an adult whilst going upstairs to and from the studio. They must be accompanied by an adult until the teacher arrives to collect them, they MUST NOT be ‘dropped off’.
• Dancers will not be allowed to leave the studio and travel home alone unless written, signed permission has been provided by
their parent/guardian.
• Please ensure your child has been to the toilet before the start of each class, has their hair securely tied back and is not
chewing.
Payment Information – The first lesson is free as a trial and then lessons are payable in half termly blocks. You will need to clearly
advise Miss Gina of your choice of class(es) to then be invoiced via e-mail. You can then pay this invoice by bank transfer or cash.
Please place all cash in a sealed envelope with your child’s name on; for bank transfers please use your child’s name as the
reference. All lessons need to be paid for and we are unable to offer any discounts or refunds for any form of absences. All invoices will be paid upon receipt, and a minimum of a paid half terms notice (6-7 weeks) when leaving a class will be provided. This notice will only be accepted in a written form (email/text/letter).

Term Dates – For all normal timetabled lessons we follow the school term times including half terms, Christmas, Easter and
Summer holidays unless otherwise advised.

Code Of Conduct (Dancers) – We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all our members. Unique Dance
Studios believes it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the school should, at all
times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at
